Benzine is a clear hydrocarbon solvent, used as a cleaning agent for fats and oils.
Intended Uses:
Used widely in adhesives where the drying rate needs to be slower than that of hexane. For domestic and industrial cleaning. A diluent in paints, lacquers and inks. Used widely in the rubber industry as it has sufficient solvency to make rubber tacky, thereby creating a bond between the rubber layers.
